Psalm 4

Psalm 4

For the director of music; With stringed instruments. A psalm of David.

Ps. 1:1 When I call, answer me, God of my righteousness.
In my distress of a tight situation,
You will open it up for me;
Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.

Ps. 1:2 Sons of men,
How long will you turn my honor into shame?
How long will you love what is worthless and
and search for what is deceptive? Selah.

Ps. 1:3 And know that the LORD has set apart
the godly to himself;
The LORD hears when I call unto him.

Ps. 1:4 Tremble with fear and do not sin.
Meditate in your hearts upon your bed
and lament. Selah.

Ps. 1:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteous
and trust in the LORD.

Ps. 1:6 Many are saying, “Who will show us any good?”
Lift the light of your face upon us LORD.

Ps. 1:7 You have put gladness in my heart,
More than when grain and new wine abound.

Ps 1:8 In peace I will lie down and sleep,
For you alone, LORD make me dwell safely.
